Years ago, I deleted a story because one person didn’t like it. (Fan fiction was a big part of my writing career in the beginning). They poked holes in the plot and didn’t like my main characters. Their feedback haunted me, and I felt awful when I tried to keep writing. I overthought it, and things spiraled around my introvert brain until I just — click-delete.

One downside to selling your book on Amazon is that you don’t have the readers/buyers’ information. You don’t know who bought your book, and you can’t communicate with them. This isn't an issue exclusive only to them if you sell through other distributors. (Where Should I Publish My Book?)
Amazon keeps the emails of everyone who shops with them, and they are not sharing. It would be irresponsible of them if they did. The only access you have directly with buyers and readers is the one you create. Amazon does allow you to create an author page. Part of your funnel can start there.
Am I the only one who used to believe being an introvert meant that you hated people? (Please tell me I wasn’tđŸ˜…)
Because the internet was still emerging when I was growing up and I just had the voices and adults around me tell me what they thought it meant.
